Diabetes mellitus, also referred to as Diabetes, is characterized by a
disordered metabolism and unusually high blood sugar resulting from
insufficient levels of the hormone insulin.

Symptoms of diabetes include excessive urine production, excessive thirst
and increased fluid intake, blurred vision, unexplained weight loss, and
lethargy.





Limit your Protein Intake to Ease Diabetes- According to the American
Diabetes Association, protein should amount to about 12 to 20 percent of your
calories.

Reduce your Fat Intake- According to the ADA, fat calories should account for
less than 30 percent of your calories.

The Fiber Cure- Consider gradually increasing your fiber intake until 40
grams per day is met.

The Exercise Cure- Exercise is essentially important as a diabetic. Exercise
aids the control of blood sugar levels and helps circulation. However, lifting
weights and similar push/lift exercises raises blood sugar levels and blood
pressure too much which may be pushing it.
